Vestel Demanded ₺12,000 to Replace My Rusted Dishwasher Still Under Warranty




Despite only a year and a half passing since I purchased the Vestel BM 8402 gi Pro WiFi 8 Program Dishwasher on April 20, 2023, the machine has rusted. On August 21, 2024, a service technician came, conducted all necessary inspections, and took photos. They confirmed that it was a manufacturing defect, but stated that factory approval was required. On September 20, 2024, I received a call from the factory, and I was informed that the product could be replaced for a fee, requiring a payment of ₺12,000. Despite the product being within its official warranty period and having an extended warranty, this request reflects Vestel’s lack of commitment to honoring their warranty. Vestel is a regret.

It took 3 days to get a response here, but no one has called or offered any help to resolve the issue. I have never seen such a terrible warranty process management that doesn't stand behind its products.
After I shared my complaint on LinkedIn, Vestel's social media representatives contacted me and arranged for the replacement of the machine. This is the roadmap for those experiencing the same issue.
