Vestel Hera 7009 LX Dishwasher F5 Error Code
Our Vestel Hera 7009 LX dishwasher failed, with the plastic element at the bottom wearing out and breaking over time. We phoned Vestel Service, and as promised, their specialists arrived on March 29, 2024. However, they claimed the machine was fixed without any repairs and charged us ₺400 for the service. Only five minutes after they left, the system displayed the F5 problem code again. We immediately called the service and asked them to come back the next day. During their second visit, I became concerned when one of the technicians dropped the machine on the floor, and despite spending more than half an hour, they were unable to repair the problem. Before departing, they suggested that we run the computer again on a 55-minute program to avoid the problem from reoccurring, but we received the F5 error again. I mentioned the matter to customer support and asked the former service provider to return to my house. We were told that the service would come between 4:00 and 5:00 PM on March 30, 2024. However, we needed to leave the house, so we rescheduled for April 1, 2024, between 3:00 and 5:00 PM, as confirmed by customer support. However, they did not show up on the scheduled date, and when we contacted them, they claimed the appointment had been canceled by us. Despite clarifying the scenario, they insisted on waiting for the local service provider to fix the issue and charging ₺400 per service visit. In addition, the authorized service center advised us that the machine's broken part is no longer in production. The customer representative disagreed, claiming that the equipment had been functioning smoothly for a long time. This event has shattered my belief in the Vestel brand, and I will not contemplate purchasing any of their items in the future, despite sharing my experience with others. Furthermore, I seek a return for the service cost charged for works that were not completed by the service.
