I used to play Ubisoft games on PC all the time but now I see something called Unisoft Connect. What does it do?

Most Ubisoft online services now use Ubisoft Connect instead of Uplay on PC.

The hub unites your Ubisoft games across PC, consoles, and cloud platforms. You can access your game library, achievements, and friends list across devices with Ubisoft Connect. It offers online features like friend connections, multiplayer games, and leaderboards.

Playing Ubisoft games earns points that can be used to unlock in-game rewards, customizations, and discounts on future purchases. Cross-progression lets you save and progress across platforms in some games. Note that not all Ubisoft games have this feature.
