Türk Telekom Forced Me to End My Home Internet and Blocked My Mobile Access
I had a home internet subscription registered at my rental address. I wanted to move/transfer my subscription to my new address. However, I faced many problems. 1. Since there was no infrastructure at that address, Türk Telekom offered to transfer my subscription to another address and keep the service on hold for me until the infrastructure was ready. They requested two documents: an electricity bill in my name and a residence certificate showing that, due to the nature of my permit, I was not tied to Istanbul. I submitted both, but they rejected them and told me I had to apply to terminate the service and pay a penalty. Because your staff said they would not accept only an electricity bill and that I had to provide a residence certificate for the new address, I had no option but to terminate the service, and I am requesting to be exempt from the penalty. 2. The second issue is that since your staff terminated my home subscription, I can no longer access my mobile subscription. I cannot track my current package, top up, or purchase a new package through the app. I request that these issues be resolved.
