Trivago Sent Me to Agoda but I Couldn't Get an Invoice
On June 13, 2026, I searched for a one-night hotel stay using the Trivago mobile app. After selecting a hotel I liked, Trivago redirected me to Agoda to complete the booking. I paid approximately $144 by credit card through Agoda, and my reservation number is 1736954459.
After my stay, I requested an invoice for the hotel reservation, but Agoda informed me that they could not provide one. None of the customer service phone numbers provided are for Türkiye, and the only support available is through an automated chatbot. If something goes wrong, there is no real customer service representative you can contact, making it extremely difficult to resolve any issues.
I believe Trivago should be much more selective about the booking partners it recommends. When I experienced a problem with Agoda after being redirected from Trivago, I was left without any meaningful assistance, and neither company took responsibility for resolving the issue. I ask Trivago to work with partners that provide proper invoices and accessible customer support, and I request that my complaint be investigated and that I receive a response regarding the problems I experienced.
