TripAdvisor Didn’t Help After the Hotel Gave Us an Unusable Room

On August 20, we traveled from Antakya to Marmaris after making a family room reservation for 2 adults and 4 children over the phone through Jolly Tour. When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a small room with only two beds. When I informed the reception, they said they could “open an extra bed,” but I explained there was no space for that. Then the receptionist made a phone call and said they would give us two separate rooms. However, I did not accept putting two teenage girls and two small children in separate rooms.
Because of this, we canceled our reservation. During this entire process, Jolly Tour did not support us or stand by us in any way. The hotel did not help, and Jolly Tour simply processed the cancellation and never contacted us again afterward.
Although the room fee was refunded, we had already traveled all the way from Antakya to Marmaris, suffered the inconvenience, and had to return. Our travel expenses cost approximately $354, and no compensation was offered for this. I am requesting reimbursement for these travel costs.
