Trendyol Refunded My Customer 12 Days Later by Claiming No Receipt Was Sent
A customer who placed an order from my restaurant via Trendyol requested a refund 12 days later, claiming they didn’t receive the receipt. The customer service representative initially told me to wait 24 to 48 hours for a resolution. The next day, another representative said the refund was processed because I hadn't uploaded the receipt to the system. In other words, the customer got their money back for a meal they clearly ate, simply by claiming the receipt never arrived. The customer service reps speak without knowing the details and offer no real support. Trendyol takes commission from me but cancels a completed order 15 days later whenever it suits them. It’s a platform that clearly acts against the interests of sellers.
There was a big development with this complaint. They did nothing. In other words, Trendyol did what suits them.
