Trendyol Marked My White Goods Order as Delivered Even Though I Never Got It
I purchased a home appliance from the Trendyol seller “modatrend34-istanbul” on March 27. Although it wasn't delivered on March 28, the system showed it as delivered. Since I never received the item, the 14-day return period kept running, and every time I contacted Trendyol, I was given different and often misleading information. Some reps falsely claimed the warranty starts upon delivery, while one finally clarified it starts after installation. I spoke with 5–6 different agents. Eventually, they said the seller would deliver it via their own courier and gave me a tracking link—something no previous rep had done. The seller’s page had stated it would be delivered via Ceva, so they could’ve at least called or texted me when they shipped it. Trendyol should’ve provided accurate info from the start, without making me chase answers. When I reached out through the seller’s tracking page, the person I spoke to was disrespectful and dismissive, didn’t apologize, and acted like they were completely in the right. Today, I was notified that my product was returned without my consent, and a refund was issued automatically. The same item now costs more from other sellers. Since I’ve suffered a financial loss, I request that Trendyol compensate me with a gift voucher or discount equal to the price difference. After all, a seller on their platform returned my order without notifying me or getting my approval—despite their courier telling me on April 5 that delivery was still scheduled. If we can't trust either the seller or Trendyol’s representatives, how can we shop confidently?
