While using the website Tracelo-help.com to look up who a phone number belonged to, I was asked to create a membership and make a one-time payment in order to view detailed information on the screen. I entered my credit card details believing that I was authorizing a single, one-time transaction only.
However, on December 27, multiple charges were made to my card without my knowledge or consent. In addition, today I received an SMS stating that on December 28 at 4:39:22 PM, a charge of $7 USD was made to my Tom Bank Hadi credit card ending in 8335, by a merchant listed as TRACELO-HELP.com UD5L5. I became aware of this transaction only through that SMS. I did not give consent for any of these charges and never approved any subscription or recurring payment.
As soon as I noticed the issue, I contacted my bank and had my card canceled and blocked, and a dispute request was filed for the unauthorized transactions and refunds. Despite this, I have suffered both financial and emotional distress due to these unauthorized charges.
I am requesting that Tracelo-help.com immediately cancel and refund all unauthorized charges totaling $7 USD, return the full amount to my credit card, and issue a formal apology for the harm caused by this situation.
