I created an account on the Toppdf platform only to try its free trial and made a ₺5 payment for a single file conversion. However, today I discovered that ₺1,599 was withdrawn from my bank card without any prior notice, confirmation, or authorization. This charge occurred while my trial period was still active, and no password, verification, or consent was requested during the process. I also never agreed to have my card information saved on the platform.
As soon as I noticed the issue, I canceled my subscription, requested my bank to block my card, and filed a dispute for the transaction. When I contacted Toppdf customer service, I received a negative response, and so far my refund request has not been approved. This is the first time I have experienced such an issue.
I believe this unauthorized charge is illegal and against consumer protection laws. I request the immediate refund of ₺1,599 to my bank card ending in 6269, and I expect Toppdf to take responsibility for this unapproved transaction.
