I signed up for TopPDF, a digital file conversion service, simply to try it out and test the free option. During this process, I converted one file and made a small one-time payment of ₺5. At no point was I informed about any ongoing subscription, hidden charges, or automatic billing. Despite this, I later discovered that ₺1599 had been withdrawn from my bank account without my knowledge or consent. The charge was processed directly on my debit card, and no SMS confirmation or security approval was requested.
As soon as I noticed this, I immediately canceled the so-called subscription and instructed my bank to block my card. However, my refund request has been completely ignored. I reached out to TopPDF customer service, but I either received no response or a refusal to help. This practice of misleading users into hidden subscriptions without clear disclosure is unacceptable.
I am demanding the immediate refund of the unauthorized ₺1599 charge, the permanent cancellation of any subscription linked to my account, and a commitment from TopPDF to provide transparent and upfront information to prevent other users from facing the same issue.
