I Demand Refund From Toppdf After Unauthorized Subscription Charge
On August 2, 2025, at 01:30 AM, I used the Toppdf website to convert a single PDF file and paid ₺5 as a one-time fee. I did not register for any subscription or membership, and there was no information suggesting that additional charges would follow. However, on August 3, 2025, at the exact same time, ₺1600 was withdrawn from my account without my knowledge or consent, listed under the description “USTOPPDF*W.”
Right after noticing the unauthorized charge, I immediately contacted my bank and filed a dispute regarding the transaction. I also reached out to Toppdf directly, but instead of providing a resolution, they informed me that no refund would be issued. This response is completely unacceptable since I never agreed to a Pro plan, recurring subscription, or any kind of automatic payment. My intention was strictly a one-time transaction.
I am formally demanding the full refund of the ₺1600 that was taken from my account without authorization. Additionally, I expect Toppdf to review and correct its payment practices so that customers are not misled into unauthorized subscriptions. If my refund is not processed quickly, I will escalate this matter to consumer protection authorities and pursue legal remedies.
