TikTok Support Only Offers AI Chatbot Help for Lost Account Access
I am writing regarding a problem with accessing my old TikTok account and the lack of effective support options to resolve it. For almost a year now, I have not been able to access my old account because I no longer have access to the phone number and email address that were originally linked to it. I still remember the username, the old phone number and the old email, but I cannot use them to log in or verify my identity. When I try to use the “Friends” option, the app shows that this feature is not available for that account, which prevents me from reconnecting or managing it in any way. I lost access to the phone number and email around July 2025, and since then I have been unable to log back in. Today I tried to contact TikTok support, but I only received AI-based automated support and no real solution or way to verify my identity through alternative methods. I would like TikTok to help me recover control of this account by changing the registered email address to a new one, after verifying my ownership through other information I can provide, such as the exact username, old phone number, old email and details about the account’s activity. I am requesting a manual review and a secure way to update my contact details, so I can use and manage my old account again.
