I accidentally used the wrong type of Tide in my non-HE machine. What should I do?

If you accidentally used the wrong Tide detergent in your non-HE washing machine, suds may result. In low-water machines like HE, HE detergents produce fewer suds. In a non-HE machine with more water, HE detergents can cause issues. Suds can hinder cleaning, leave residue on clothes, and occasionally break machines.

Do not panic if the wash cycle produces excessive suds.

• Monitor the wash cycle and avoid opening the lid to avoid suds overflow.

• If the suds persist after a few minutes, add a de-suder product according to the packaging.

• Adding regular detergent may worsen sudsing. Once suds are under control, continue washing as usual.

• To completely remove suds and detergent residue from clothes, consider adding an extra rinse cycle.
