On October 6, 2024, I purchased a pair of The North Face M Kurewave Futurlight shoes from the Boyner store. Since then, I’ve been experiencing a persistent odor problem with the product. I used the shoes for one season intermittently, then stored them in their box. When I took them out again to wear, I noticed a very unpleasant smell, similar to cat urine. Despite airing them out for several days, the odor did not go away. The smell seems to be coming from the upper and side materials of the shoes.
I tried several methods to remove the odor, but nothing worked. I sent the product to the company through Boyner for inspection, but they replied that the smell was caused by external factors, and my request was denied. I still have the invoice and warranty documents.
Because the odor clearly originates from the product material, I am requesting a replacement for this defective item.
