North Face Boot Shoelace Broke Shortly After Purchase

North Face Boot Shoelace Broke Shortly After Purchase

In December 2025, I purchased a pair of North Face boots from SuperStep’s online store. Very shortly after I purchased them, almost immediately, the boot’s shoelace broke, making the product unusable in its current condition.

I sent the product in for inspection and was told that the issue was caused by “user error.” I did not accept this decision, so I sent the product back for another inspection yesterday. I do not believe it is reasonable for a shoelace to break after such a short period under normal use, and I believe the defect should not be attributed to the consumer.

To resolve the inconvenience I have experienced, I request that my boots be replaced with a new pair free of charge or that I receive a refund based on the product’s current selling price. Otherwise, I would like to state that I will file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee. Please contact me regarding the necessary action using the information for Burak Boduroğlu, 5301****76.
