Tesla Model Y Failed Vehicle Inspection Due to a Tesla-Related Issue

During the vehicle inspection of my 2023 Tesla Model Y, my vehicle failed the inspection due to an issue caused entirely by Tesla and not by anything I had done. As a result, I was forced to complete additional procedures that would not normally have been necessary, obtain a new vehicle registration certificate, and pay out of pocket for notary services and other related administrative expenses.

On September 8, 2026, I submitted a formal written complaint to Tesla by email and attached the receipts and payment documents for all the expenses I incurred as a result. In my complaint, I explicitly requested reimbursement for the financial losses caused by a Tesla-related issue, providing supporting documentation for every expense.

However, approximately one month has passed since my initial complaint, and I have not received any written response. Tesla has not provided even the slightest update regarding the status of my request, the outcome, or the review process. I find it completely unacceptable that my documented reimbursement claim for financial losses caused by a Tesla-related issue has been left unanswered for so long.

I am therefore reiterating my request for Tesla to review my September 8, 2026, complaint without further delay, reimburse all documented expenses in full, and provide me with written information regarding the investigation and its outcome. Please treat this complaint as a follow-up to my original submission and my second formal written request.

If my claim is not resolved within a reasonable period or I once again receive no response, I will exercise my legal rights by submitting the vehicle inspection records, vehicle registration documents, payment receipts, and correspondence with Tesla to the relevant authorities, including the Consumer Arbitration Committee and the Consumer Court. I expect this matter to be resolved without further delay and a written response to be provided to me.
