Telegram Won't Let Me Log In to My Account With My Phone Number

I am writing because I am unable to log in to my Telegram account registered with a phone number starting with +251. When I try to sign in, I cannot access my account even though I am entering my correct phone number. I have tried several times on different occasions, but the problem still persists and I remain locked out of my account. My main request is to have my access to this Telegram account restored as soon as possible so that I can continue using the service.
