Telegram Two Step Verification Password Forgotten

I am using Telegram on an Android phone and I can no longer access my account because I forgot my two-step verification password. I have been facing this problem since Monday, 22 February and I have been completely locked out of my account since then. I contacted Telegram for help but I did not receive any password or solution to disable the two-step verification. My account is a free account and I have not made any paid purchases, but I still want to keep my phone number and chat history if possible. I kindly request that my two-step verification be disabled or that my account access be restored, and I would like clear guidance on what can be done in this situation as soon as possible.
