Start by shutting down and relaunching the application. Updates frequently address bugs that cause crashes, so make sure the Telegram app and your device's operating system are up to date.

To fix any short-term issues, you can also try rebooting your device.

Clear the app's cache without erasing your chats if the problem continues. To clear the cache, navigate to Settings > Data & Storage > Storage Usage.

Steer away of data cleansing because, if you don't have a backup, it can log you out and erase your chat history.

You can also remove the app's cache on an Android device by going to Apps > Telegram > Storage > remove Cache in the device settings.

Try removing and reinstalling the Telegram app if the problem persists. Make sure your communications are backed up if necessary before proceeding.

Visit Telegram's official X to see if there are any known outages if none of these fixes resolve the issue. You can reach Telegram at telegram.org/support for more help.
