Tatilox Charged Extra for a Child’s Bed That Didn’t Exist
Hello everyone. Recently, we wanted to rent a private pool bungalow through a website called Tatilox. They presented us with several options and told us the location would be Hatay, Arsuz, which we accepted. We agreed on a price of $476 for two nights. Later, they said we needed to add an extra bed for our child and charged us an additional $63 for the bed. We agreed and started our trip.
When we arrived at the location they provided, we realized it was not Arsuz but the Defne district. They said the property was 400 meters from the sea, but there was no sea nearby at all. We asked about the extra bed for our child, and the property staff told us that they do not offer such a service. We were told there was a restaurant for meals, but in reality, there was only a small snack stand selling water, soda, and hamburgers—nothing else.
The place was located on top of a mountain, in an area called Florya. The people working at the property were polite and understanding, but we were severely misled and inconvenienced. Nothing they told us matched the reality of the place.
