Storytel Trial Cut Short: Update Fail, Charged Anyway
I joined Storytel on February 14th, with a one-month free trial. But on February 23rd, it suddenly stopped working and asked me to update my payment details. I attempted to update my card information multiple times, but on February 24th, the option to update vanished. It displayed Apple as the payment method and wouldn't let me switch it. I kept asking to talk to customer service to fix this, because I didn't want to put in my credit card info for the Apple app purchase, but got no reply. My free trial got canceled, and I was moved to the 'light' package, with charges taken from my card. I haven't been able to talk to a real person yet.
