Storytel Charges Unauthorized Subscription Fee After Free Trial Code Sign-Up

I became a member of Storytel using a free 1-month trial code provided through an Akbank campaign. While signing up, I never entered any card information, and there is no registered card appearing on my account. Despite this, a Storytel subscription fee of $8.74 (329.99 TL) was withdrawn from my Akbank card on July 28, 2026.

I do not accept the unauthorized deduction of fees from my card without my knowledge, considering I never saved any card details and only opened a trial membership using a campaign code. I demand an explanation as to what method and authorization were used to charge my card, and I request that the $8.74 (329.99 TL) withdrawn due to this transaction be refunded to me as soon as possible.

To prevent a similar situation from occurring again, I request that such unauthorized deductions through my account be blocked, that the necessary investigation be conducted, and that I be provided with a written explanation regarding the matter.
