Storytel Charged Me Monthly Without My Consent After I Stopped Using the App

I registered for Storytel with a one-month trial, but I found the app unsatisfactory and decided not to proceed with it. I’ve used it in the past, but this time I noticed something odd while reviewing my credit card statements — they had been taking ₺200 from my account each month without my permission. I didn't get any notification or reminder that payments were still being processed. I was completely unaware of the app charges, and discovering that I had been billed month after month without my knowledge seemed really unjust. I truly thought I had canceled the subscription. This feels like a clear case of exploiting individuals. This method seems more like a subtle way to take money from people rather than promoting the joy of reading. This practice raises significant concerns for me.
