Since the day I purchased my Fiat 500e La Prima, I have been unable to access the Fiat Global mobile app from Turkey. Because the app is not available in Turkey, I cannot install it on my phone, nor can I link or manage my vehicle through the app. In addition, the Uconnect 5 multimedia screen in the car cannot establish an update connection via Wi-Fi. While these features are active in countries such as Germany and the UK, I am extremely disappointed that such a modern and technologically advanced vehicle is deprived of these capabilities in Turkey.
When I spoke with the authorized service center, I was told that I simply would not be able to use the app, and no solution was provided. In today’s smart-vehicle ecosystem, mobile app access—especially for functions such as charging status monitoring—is a basic necessity, not a luxury.
What I expect from TOFAŞ Stellantis Türkiye is for the Fiat Global mobile app and its related services to be made available in Turkey, for my vehicle to be linkable to the app, and for me to be able to remotely track and manage the vehicle’s status and charging information. I also request that Wi-Fi software/firmware updates via Uconnect 5 be activated for Turkey as well.
Please refer to the attached images for the mobile app and in-car update screen I’m referring to.
Important note: My vehicle cannot be managed through the “Fiat Yol Arkadaşım” app. I kindly request that the first brand representative who reads this complaint not suggest the Yol Arkadaşım app; the 500e La Prima cannot be added to it. Everyone is already aware of the ongoing issues with Egea vehicles in Turkey, including SIM module failures and inefficient operation.
