Unauthorized Transactions on My Steam Account
As a user, I awoke on May 3, 2024 to discover that illicit transactions totaling $25 had been debited to my Steam account while I was sleeping. These charges were done without my knowledge or approval, and they added $25 to my Steam wallet balance. When I attempted to login my Steam account, I saw an additional $25 transaction for Steam wallet funds that I had not authorized. Furthermore, game rewards were sent to three strange accounts without my knowledge.
Both LIDIO/Steam and steamgames.com are liable for these transactions, which occurred without proper authorization. Despite existing security precautions, such as Guard authentication, illegal access to my account was given without verification.
I instantly contacted Steam support and provided the relevant documentation, including screenshots, to back up my claim. While they confirmed the fraudulent purchases and gave a refund, I then noticed an additional purchase on my account. I demand that the required steps be done to correct this situation and swiftly refund my money.
It would be better if there was live support; to communicate, you need to wait for 3-4 hours or more. Other than that, my money was refunded. Thank you.
