On May 27, 2016, multiple transactions in varying amounts were made through Steam without my knowledge or authorization, resulting in a total of $435 being charged to my account. None of these purchases were made by me, and I did not provide consent or approval for any of the transactions.
As soon as I discovered the unauthorized activity, I immediately contacted my bank and had my Visa credit card canceled to prevent any further misuse. The last four digits of the card were 9899.
I am particularly concerned that such a large number of transactions, totaling a significant amount of money and occurring within a very short period of time, were processed without any additional verification or security confirmation. The lack of extra authentication for multiple high-value purchases made within the same timeframe has caused me considerable financial harm and inconvenience.
I request that the unauthorized transactions totaling $435 be investigated, canceled, and fully refunded. I also ask that a thorough security review be conducted regarding the use of my account and card information. In addition, I would like to receive detailed information about the findings of the investigation and any measures taken to protect my account and payment information from future unauthorized activity.
