The Spirit Airlines flight I took from STT to FLL last week was absolutely terrible, definitely one of the worst flight experiences I've ever had. I've had the displeasure of flying with numerous airlines, both within my own country and abroad, but none have managed to reach the level of incompetence displayed by this particular airline. I spent $215 on the ticket but ended up paying an additional $195.00 for a small bag. I was aware that there would be a charge, but I was taken aback by how steep it turned out to be. In addition, despite the high cost, they didn't provide a free drink. They seem to find every opportunity to charge for various things both before and during the flight. I won't pick them again unless it's absolutely necessary.
