Snapchat "Friend Request Limit Reached" Won't Reset After a Week

I use Snapchat on an Android device and have been dealing with a problem with the Quick Add feature for about a week now. I keep getting the message: "You've reached the friend request limit for now. Try again in a few days." It has been well over 48 hours since I first saw that warning — nearly a full week at this point — and the restriction still hasn't lifted. I still can't use Quick Add at all.
My account has no penalties, no additional restrictions, and no other warnings of any kind, yet the problem persists. I contacted the Snapchat support team through the app and never received any response.
I am asking that the friend request limit currently showing on my account be removed so I can use the Quick Add feature normally again. I would also like the issue to be looked into and for someone to follow up with me directly.
