My personal Snapchat account, which I had been using for a long time, was suddenly closed about a year ago, and since then I have been unable to access it. When I try to log into the app, I receive a community guidelines violation or security warning, but I was never given a clear explanation about what rule I supposedly violated. I did not knowingly break any rules, and I believe my account was wrongfully closed.
So far, I have not submitted a request through Snapchat’s support or appeal forms, mainly because I did not fully understand how the process worked or what steps I needed to take. However, I now want to regain access to my account, including my friend list and content stored on the account. I request that my complaint be reviewed, that my account be investigated, and—if possible—that my account be reopened. I would also like to receive clear instructions on how I can regain access.
This account is my personal account, and I am ready to provide my username, registered email address, or phone number if necessary so that Snapchat staff can identify my account.
