Smule Keeps Charging My Phone Bill for a Subscription I Can't Find or Cancel
For years, I've had 49 TRY deducted every month through Vodafone mobile billing for a subscription I believe belongs to the Smule app. I was using my account through the "forgot password" method, so I don't remember which registered membership the charges are being made under or which of my accounts this subscription is linked to.
I can't find this subscription anywhere in Google Payments, so I'm unable to cancel it myself. For close to 5 years now, 49 TRY has continued to be deducted every single month, without fail. This situation is causing me financial harm, and I feel helpless because of a subscription I can't control.
I've contacted both Vodafone and Smule multiple times about this issue. Vodafone told me the matter isn't in their hands and that the cancellation has to come from Smule. Smule, on the other hand, keeps insisting on asking for my membership details — specifically, which exact account I signed up with — but I don't remember the account or the login information I created years ago. Even though I've written to them about this several times, they haven't offered a concrete solution, and the charges have kept coming.
First and foremost, I want this Smule subscription registered under my name to be identified and canceled immediately, and I want no further charges taken from my phone line under any circumstances. I would also like to request, if possible, that the amounts I believe have been unfairly deducted for close to 5 years be reviewed and refunded to me. I'm asking for help in resolving this situation as soon as possible.
My possible email addresses are c**********@gmail.com, c**********@mynet.com, and c*********@hotmail.com, and the last 4 digits of my Vodafone line are 4460.
