Shortmax Weekly Subscription Charged More Than Advertised Price

I wanted to activate the Shortmax weekly subscription on my Türk Telekom mobile line. On the screen, the weekly subscription fee was clearly shown as approximately $5. However, after activating the subscription on May 11, 2026, at around 10:25 a.m., approximately $11 was charged from my mobile line instead.

Shortly after the transaction, I received an SMS stating: “Your transaction related to the Apple service amounting to approximately $11 including taxes has been successfully completed.”

Even though I was specifically subscribing to the Shortmax weekly service, I do not accept being charged a significantly higher amount under the description of an “Apple service.”

Approximately three minutes after noticing this price difference, I contacted customer service. However, I was simply told, “This is not our responsibility, contact the service you subscribed to,” and no actual solution or support was provided.

My mobile number is 5053****28.

I request a full refund of the extra amount charged beyond the advertised approximately $5 weekly subscription fee for Shortmax. I also demand a clear written explanation regarding the price difference and the exact nature of the transaction that appeared under the name “Apple service.”
