ShortMax - Watch Dramas & Show Stop Charging My Card
I had a subscription with Short Max for the $19.99 per month VIP package, which I canceled through the app at the beginning of February. Despite this cancellation, Short Max has continued to charge my Bank of Hawaii card every week as if the subscription were still active. On February 2, 2026, they even charged me four times in a single day, with a total of $79.69 taken, and in total, I have been wrongly charged $159.92 after canceling. After noticing the ongoing charges, I contacted Short Max customer service by email. They asked me to provide transaction records, which I promptly sent. Since then, I have not received any response or solution, and the charges have continued, even though I no longer have access to, or can even find, an active account or subscription for this service in the app. I request that Short Max immediately stop all future charges to my Bank of Hawaii card and provide me with a written confirmation that my subscription is fully canceled and my account, if any, remains closed. I also expect these ongoing unauthorized charges to be investigated and resolved as soon as possible.
