I am writing to report unauthorized and misleading subscription-related charges connected with Shortmax Innovations. I never subscribed to any ongoing plan with this company, yet several attempts and charges have appeared on my card. On 3/12/26, I made a one‑time purchase of $3.49 to buy minutes in order to try the service. About 40 minutes later, an additional charge of $11.99 was taken, which I did not knowingly authorize. On 3/19/26, there was another $11.99 charge, again without my consent to any subscription. Both $11.99 transactions were successfully paid. After that, three separate attempts of $19.99 each appeared on my card on 3/26/26, 4/2/26, and 4/4/26. Fortunately, these three $19.99 transactions were declined by my bank, but they clearly indicate that a recurring subscription was set up without my informed permission. I have checked my Google Play account thoroughly, and I cannot find any active subscription for Shortmax Innovations or “Short Max” to cancel. When I tried to manage this through the app, I was redirected here instead of being given any clear option to view or cancel a subscription. I have no way on my side to stop this at the source, which is extremely concerning. My Google account email is lundeenswolf***@gmail.com, and I also have UID 171905833 associated with my use of the service. I request a full refund of the unauthorized $11.99 charge on 3/12/26 and the $11.99 charge on 3/19/26, a written confirmation that any subscription or recurring billing linked to my details is fully cancelled, and a clear explanation of how my payment information was used to create an ongoing plan that I never knowingly agreed to. I also ask that you ensure no further attempts are made to charge my card in the future. I expect this issue to be investigated urgently and resolved in a transparent manner, as these events have undermined my trust in your service.
