I Bought Sephora Perfumes but They Are Not Long Lasting
On April 7, I purchased two perfumes from the Sephora store in Mersin Forum—Givenchy L’Interdit and Rabanne Invictus—and paid a total of $600. The store staff strongly promoted these products, claiming that the fragrances would last 3–4 days and be noticeable even from a distance.
However, from the very first use, we experienced the exact opposite. The scent is extremely weak and not long-lasting. Even someone standing right next to me cannot smell it, and it is barely noticeable unless smelled very closely on the skin. The same issue applies to the perfume I purchased for my spouse. We also realized that the scents do not match the testers we tried in-store—the testers were much stronger and more noticeable, while the purchased products do not provide the same effect at all. Considering the high amount I paid, I am completely dissatisfied.
I have not yet visited the store to report the issue, but I plan to do so soon. However, since I have heard that others experienced similar problems at the same location, I wanted to raise this issue here as well.
I request that these products be investigated to confirm whether they are authentic and to determine why their performance is so weak. If necessary, I demand either a full refund or an exchange with products that are genuinely long-lasting and match the tester performance I experienced in-store.
