We bought two Sensodyne toothpaste products through a promotional offer. The two tubes were packaged together in a single box, but the outer packaging did not indicate their weight. The promotion claimed “buy one, get one free,” and we paid ₺109 for what appeared to be two full-sized boxes. However, when we got home and opened the package, we discovered two small 50g tubes—each only half the size of a regular box. The packaging was cleverly designed to look long and full from the outside, clearly intended to mislead consumers. It was so expertly done that you wouldn’t notice the deception until after the purchase. I sincerely congratulate everyone involved in this campaign—including the CEO—for their brilliant omission of weight information and their impressive ability to trick customers.
