Samsung Faulty Microwave and Poor Warranty
Hey everyone, I deleted my last complaint by accident, so I'm writing it again because my problem hasn't been fixed. Let me tell you that Samsung has no customer service and no happy customers. Two years ago, I bought a Samsung microwave and used it every day since then. But by the end of its third year, the interior filter had started to come off, separating the inner parts from the outside structure. I called Samsung's customer service and took the device to a place that was authorized to fix it. To my disappointment, they told me that since the warranty had run out, I would have to pay for the replacement, which cost the same as what it was worth on the market. They even refused to honor any kind of warranty. How could that be? They agreed that there was a problem with the way it was made, but they still want me to pay the full price for a broken product without any warranty. Even more crazy is that when I talked to customer service about this, they admitted there was a problem with the way it was made but said they couldn't give me a free replacement because the warranty had run out. So, they say I should buy the same product again at the same price but without a warranty. It's not right! I have a broken microwave that I can't either use or get rid of. I can't believe I bought a microwave for only two years. I have never heard of anything like that. Why did I choose Samsung if I have to throw it away after just two years? I could have spent less on a different brand. I just want to get a free replacement for a product that was made wrong. Note: A friend of mine had the same problem with their Samsung microwave, and because their warranty hadn't run out, they got a new one for free. Is it my fault that the time on my warranty ran out? Are you making things that only last for two years? Please tell me ahead of time so I don't buy your products more than I need to.
