Roblox MM2 Ban Extended From 3 Days to 5 Days After Appeal

While playing MM2 (Murder Mystery 2) on Roblox, I encountered a player whom I believed was using cheats in the server. Although I had reported this player through the in-game reporting system several times before, I never received any information about whether any action had been taken against the account.

During the game, I argued with this player through chat and made fun of them. As a result, on September 13, my account under the username “umut_kaan11” received a 3-day ban for “chat/inappropriate behavior.” Because I believed the ban was unfair, I submitted an appeal through Roblox. The response to my appeal was displayed as a one-time notification on September 16, when I logged back into my account after the original 3-day ban had ended.

The notification stated that my appeal had been rejected and that my punishment had been extended to 5 days. However, I was not told which specific chat message or clear rule violation the decision was based on. Providing only the minimal information that my appeal was “rejected and extended to 5 days” without giving a detailed reason makes the process feel insufficiently transparent. At the same time, I was never informed whether any action had been taken against the player whom I suspected of cheating and had reported multiple times.

I request that Roblox first clearly and understandably explain which specific chat content or rule violation resulted in the punishment imposed on my “umut_kaan11” account and provide a detailed explanation of why my appeal was rejected. I also ask Roblox to thoroughly investigate my previous reports concerning the player whom I suspected of cheating. If cheating is confirmed, I request that appropriate action be taken against the account, including permanent removal from the platform if warranted.

I also request that reports of cheating and abuse submitted by users be taken seriously, that moderation and disciplinary decisions be communicated to players in a more transparent and informative manner, and, finally, that the ban placed on my account be removed as soon as possible and cleared from my account history.
