A few days ago, I woke up with severe irritation and what I initially thought was a heat rash or reaction to heavy sweating. I assumed it would go away with powder and Bepanthol cream, but things took a disturbing turn. The burning and itching worsened, and I stopped using the Rexona Clinical Protection deodorant immediately. That’s when painful bumps, swelling, and underarm cysts began to appear.
The discomfort became unbearable—sharp stinging, burning, and muscle-like pulling sensations every night. A doctor diagnosed me with impetigo, though I remain skeptical. While researching the condition, I stumbled upon numerous complaints online, with photos identical to my own symptoms—red, itchy blisters forming under the arm after using this same product.
I’ve now been on antibiotics and prescription creams for two days, yet I still feel a concerning pain on the left side of my chest, and I can’t help but fear there may be systemic effects. I used to trust Rexona as a reputable brand, but now I question everything—especially when I see this product being heavily discounted and widely sold. If it were truly safe, why are so many people reporting identical skin reactions?
I call on the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Trade to investigate and urgently pull this product from the market. If this were happening abroad, there would likely be an immediate recall. We shouldn’t tolerate this kind of public health risk. I’m even willing to share photos of my underarm condition if it helps raise awareness. Rexona must take responsibility and investigate this harmful product immediately.
