On November 26, 2025, I made a transfer of €550 (approximately $830) from my Revolut account to my own IBAN at Ziraat Bank. However, this money has neither been credited to my Ziraat Bank account nor fully returned to my Revolut account.
During this process, I visited a Ziraat Bank branch twice. At the branch, I was informed that the funds had been sent back to the intermediary bank, and they were able to see a record on their system showing that the money had reached the branch level. However, they also stated that the refund process was left incomplete and that the necessary approval for the return was never finalized. On the other hand, Revolut says they cannot credit the money back to my account because Ziraat Bank has not completed this approval. In addition, I have not been provided with any receipt, official document, or GPI tracking number for this transaction, despite requesting it multiple times.
I request that Ziraat Bank either transfer this amount directly to my IBAN-linked account if possible, or, if they are unwilling to do so, fully complete and approve the refund process so that the money can be returned to my Revolut account without any further issues. I want this long-pending amount to be released to me as soon as possible and my financial hardship to be resolved.
