Some Checkout Coupons I Find On RetailMeNot Not Working

When I tried to use online coupons, sometimes it just doesn't work when I try to copy and paste the code into the right place during checkout. It only says "code provided at checkout," but there is no code given. This problem has happened to me more than once at stores like Walmart, Amazon, and Target, other coupons work just fine, but this one doesn't seem to be working. The screen doesn't seem to show how to fix it. I'm trying to save money on my purchases as life is never easy in this sense…I don't want to deal with it again so if anyone knows a way just leave a few words for me. If the platform sees this, you just fix.
