My Purina Felix Cat Food Appears to Have an Altered Expiration Date

Today, I purchased a Purina Felix wet cat food product owned by Nestlé and labeled “Economic Pack.” When I examined the expiration dates printed on the packages, I noticed that the original dates appeared to have been erased with alcohol or a similar substance and then reprinted. In other words, the products appeared to have altered expiration dates. This is extremely concerning from both food safety and animal health perspectives.

Reintroducing expired products to the market after changing their expiration dates would be completely unacceptable. Seeing Nestlé associated with practices resembling unregulated, unsafe production has left me deeply disappointed.

I am requesting that Purina and all responsible departments immediately investigate and stop this apparent date-erasing and reprinting practice. The affected products should be recalled, and appropriate action should be taken against any individuals or departments found responsible. I also expect a clear written explanation addressing this incident and the resulting loss of trust, along with all appropriate remedies, including a refund if necessary.
