Proton VPN Ignored Auto-Renew Settings and Charged My Card

I had purchased the Proton VPN Plus package for $0. When my subscription period ended, I gave cancellation instructions to prevent automatic renewal and also activated the “do not charge without asking” option when subscribing again. Despite this, on August 20, 2025, $6 was charged to my card without any approval from me. I have the invoice related to this payment, and my transaction number is: 4312346123.

This is the first time something like this has happened to me. I am requesting a refund of the $6 that was wrongfully charged.
