PlayStation Store Refund Issue: Giga-Bash Purchase Misfire

On March 16, 2024, I attempted to purchase the game "Giga-Bash" from the PlayStation Store for my son. However, instead of the game, I accidentally bought one of the in-game packages. I realized this after downloading it. I immediately requested a refund. Today, the PlayStation support team emailed me, stating, "Unfortunately, this content has been used within the game and cannot be refunded." Now I ask you, how can I use an in-game consumable item for a game I haven't even downloaded? Does the entire PlayStation support team consist of unqualified individuals? Let me reiterate, I accidentally purchased an in-game consumable instead of downloading the actual game. What part of that concept is difficult to understand? Have you bothered to check if "Giga-Bash" is in my profile or if I even purchased it? Instead of sending canned responses, I urge a sensible representative to reconsider my refund request. PlayStation support case number: 25358949.
