Gallipoli PS5 Has Too Few Players to Find Matches
After purchasing Gallipoli – Ottoman Empire Edition through the PlayStation Store, I found that the game has such a low player population on PlayStation 5 that it has become nearly impossible to find matches. Usually, there are only one or two players on a few maps, which takes away the core gameplay experience and much of the enjoyment.
In addition, when cross-platform play is enabled, I frequently encounter a large number of players on PC who appear to be using cheats. Even a simple online search shows that numerous cheat programs have been developed for this game. Because this severely disrupts competitive balance, it significantly reduces the game's playability and overall enjoyment, making the game practically unplayable.
For these reasons, I wanted to request a refund. After purchasing the game on August 20, 2026, I contacted the live assistant through the PlayStation Store refund request page. Before even asking me about the reason for my refund request, the live support agent checked only my order number and automatically rejected my request because more than 14 days had passed and I had launched the game. There is no way for me to determine whether the game has a cheating problem or an insufficient player population without launching and playing it. I also waited for some time in the hope that the number of players on PlayStation would increase, but the player population did not improve, and I continued to encounter only a limited number of players.
I consider it unfair that my refund request was rejected without even considering the reason I provided, based solely on the time limit and the fact that I had launched the game. In my view, this policy does not adequately take customer satisfaction into account. Due to the low player population and widespread cheating, the game is not providing the online experience it is intended to offer.
