Pinterest Keeps Deactivating My Account Because of a Possible System Error
On Wednesday, July 29, at approximately 1:43 AM, Pinterest disabled my personal account without providing a valid reason. When I opened Pinterest, I discovered that my account was no longer available. Shortly afterward, I received an email stating that the account had been disabled for violating Pinterest’s policies. However, I had not taken any action other than signing in normally, so I do not understand what alleged violation occurred.
The email only included a general statement claiming that I had violated Pinterest’s policies and guidelines. It did not identify the specific content, activity, or rule involved. Although this issue has sometimes happened after I changed devices, Pinterest has also disabled my account when no device change occurred. For this reason, I believe the repeated account suspensions may be caused by a system error. The account, email address, and all associated information belong to me, yet I am even being blocked for attempting to access my own disabled account. I believe this treatment is unfair and unreasonable.
The email address associated with my account is s*****************@gmail.com**. I request a clear and specific explanation of why my account was disabled. If Pinterest cannot identify a legitimate policy violation, I demand that my account be reviewed and restored immediately.
