Marlboro Red Tastes Different Lately and Burns Out on Its Own

I've been a loyal Marlboro Red smoker for 15 years, but lately, the packs I've purchased over the last two weeks have not met the usual quality I expect. I attempted to buy from various retailers, but the problem persisted. The cigarettes extinguish themselves, generate minimal smoke, and emit a rather unpleasant odor that is unlike anything I've encountered before. The experience is so different that it feels like I'm using an entirely different brand, and the decline in quality is impossible to overlook. I reached my limit and had to make the decision to switch to a different brand today. I was really surprised to encounter this problem with Marlboro, and I sincerely hope this isn't a lasting change to the product. If that's the case, I won't be purchasing it again.
