Peugeot Authorized Service Negligence

We purchased our Peugeot Boxer brand new from Kartal Öztek and have had all periodic maintenance carried out at the same Kartal Öztek service center since the first day. Our vehicle has currently reached 65,000 km. Only 500 km after the last maintenance performed on 07.04.2026, we suddenly started to hear a noise from the brakes and experienced a brake failure, forcing us to take the vehicle to the nearest private service center. At the private service, it was determined that all brake pads were completely worn out and the discs were unusable. In addition, both the power steering fluid and coolant levels were found to be below the minimum level. It is extremely worrying that such vital and basic checks were not carried out during periodic maintenance for a vehicle that has been regularly serviced at the authorized dealer since it was brand new. This negligence could have resulted in very serious loss of life and property. We have had three maintenance services performed at Kartal Öztek so far, and it is clear that the necessary brake checks were not carried out in any of them. Despite the high labor fees charged by your service center, even the simplest and most critical safety checks have not been done properly. We find this situation unacceptable and believe that it falls far short of the service quality and safety standards that a brand like Peugeot should provide. For these reasons, we request a full refund of the maintenance labor costs for all three services performed at Kartal Öztek, as the brake and critical fluid checks were not carried out properly. We also expect a detailed written explanation of how such a serious oversight could occur and what measures will be taken to prevent similar situations from happening again. Otherwise, as we have stated, we will pursue our legal rights regarding Kartal Öztek and initiate the necessary legal proceedings.
