PDFSmart Hidden Subscription Fees
Stay clear of PDFSmart if you possibly can. They will rip you off and blatantly refuse to put things right. Attracted by their "free" service I made a very small edit to one document, but then to save it costs a quid. I was in a hurry so I paid up. 7 days later, without warning £49.95 disappeared from my back account paid to PDFSmart. I immediately contacted them to cancel the subscription they had tricked me into. They could see I had used the software for one action only and contacted them as soon as I saw the money get paid out. They politely but unmovingly said that's what I had unwittingly signed up for and they would show no flexibility. 2 further emails later nothing had changed, so I am 50 quid I cannot afford out of pocket. My only hope is that I can warn others not to fall for their sharp practices. So you have been warned, please stay away from this disreputable company.
