I Face an Unauthorized pdfe.com Subscription Charge After Editing a PDF

On February 28, I edited a PDF document through pdfe.com. In order to download the file, I was asked to make a payment, so I entered my Garanti Bank credit card information and completed the transaction because I believed it was only a one-time service fee. I did not see any clear warning, notification, or approval screen indicating that I was agreeing to a subscription. I simply paid for the document editing service I used.

However, on March 8, while checking my account activity, I discovered that an additional charge of approximately $64 had been withdrawn from my card on March 7. When I realized this amount had been taken as a subscription fee, I experienced serious frustration and disappointment because I never knowingly or willingly signed up for any subscription service. I had only intended to pay for a one-time PDF editing service.

I demand that this so-called subscription fee of approximately $64, which was charged without my permission or clear consent, be canceled and fully refunded to me. I also request that users be provided with much clearer, more transparent, and more visible information regarding subscriptions and pricing during the payment process in the future.
